It is in the Pacific Standard time zone. Elevation is 1,270 feet.


Site of the Lost City, a prehistoric community of 10,000 to 20,000 people.

Overton was settled by Mormons, who had to ward off Indian attack, drought and intense heat. The settlement was abandoned in 1870 when the region became part of Nevada and the state demanded back taxes.

    Cons: No real value in shopping here, most cases we wait monthly to take a trip to St George or Las Vegas to pickup well need items at a good value...
