Profile for Quechee, Vermont, VT

Quechee is on the Ottauquechee River.

Grew after 1875, when the Woodstock Railroad built a bridge over the Quechee Gorge.

Textiles center until the 1950s. A local mill made fabric for the uniforms of the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees.
