HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES

You might think that brainy Boston, the destination of so many college students, would have the most high school graduates in the country. But, no.

Humble Lincoln, NE, where more than 94 percent of adults have their high school diplomas, leads the nation's metro areas in the proportion of graduates age 25 and older.

At the bottom of the list: Brownsville, TX, where only 56.8 percent of the people over age 25 have graduated from high school.
